The world is but a big, chunky globe,
Or geoid, call it what you may!
But there's more to the world than meets the eye,
So there's a lot more on your tray
Than you see, but I don't blame you, it's only natural,
To not notice things that take some figuring out.
Make you think, get you frustrated,
Make you smile, and even bum you out.
But think of it slowly, break it into little pieces...
Figure them out, piece it all together,
It makes a jigsaw worth solving, it does!
And you see things as they are, as they were, and will be..
And you realize that you're not alone!
You'll realize you're not alone at all,
In this wonderful, wonderful world!

The Next Port
It's been so much fun just being around,
The memories, the thrills, and our crew.
I guess it's time to head to new ground
The sails are full. We move!
An eventful stay at the Pirate King's bay,
It's the most amazing place you'll ever see...
The most wonderful thing in the world I must say,
The best place that you'll ever be.
I don't want to remember the tavern. Last night's,
Rum is still making me swim
I see the sun over the ocean blue, bright...
Last night was so sober and grim.
That fight I picked with that peg-legged man,
I really think I hurt him too much,
He was the Pirate King, but how could I know?
Surprisingly it took only one touch!

That fight I picked with that peg-legged man,
I really think I hurt him too much,
He was the Pirate King, but how could I know?
Surprisingly it took only one touch!
Oh well, moving on, it was a weird little thing,
That seems funny in its own funny way.
The tale of my luck will be in the songs I will sing,
But in the meantime, there's something that I have to say.
You might jump ports, but yes, it is true,
Some places mean more, and it will hurt
To leave them behind, but the journey must happen,
So don't worry...
There's always the next port!

Okay!
I scanned my friends, far and near,
I knew I'd spot you soon...
I knew I'd see you, see you here, and then
I knew I'd spot you soon...
I knew I'd see you, see you here, and then
I knew I'd never let you disappear.
I saw you walk past, and I refrained,
I didn't know what to say.
What would I say? Would it be okay?
I saw you walk past, and I refrained,
I didn't know what to say.
What would I say? Would it be okay?
I had no idea... I couldn't read you,
I truly had no idea, okay?
So I spent my time wondering whether
What I was doing was right,
I didn't budge, and you didn't either...
Was this some unimaginable spite?
I sat down on a little wall
And lost myself in thought...
As much as I did what I did,
I did feel a bit hurt, no, a lot.
Then I wandered around, as usual
Floating on till I found my place.
I was just getting bored when you flitted in,
Flitted in to take up my case.
So you came by, and vented away
And I countered, it was all so fast...
My fault? Your fault? Whose fault? I really don't know!
Let's just call it a truce, this fight's not going to last!
Now things are back to how they were,
With a bright, red cherry on top.
I'm glad I finally got here, although it took a while,
I truly had no idea, okay?
So I spent my time wondering whether
What I was doing was right,
I didn't budge, and you didn't either...
Was this some unimaginable spite?
I sat down on a little wall
And lost myself in thought...
As much as I did what I did,

Now things are back to how they were,
With a bright, red cherry on top.
I'm glad I finally got here, although it took a while,
Well, the weirdness just had to stop!
I really hope it gets better from here,
What will I do now? I don't know.
I really hope things get infinitely clear,
It's all going to be okay, I'm sure.
I really hope it gets better from here,
What will I do now? I don't know.
I really hope things get infinitely clear,
It's all going to be okay, I'm sure.

Andromeda Teflon
I look up at the sky, at night,
To me you're so far off.
You're there in plain sight, with the other stars
But you're just so far off!
You twinkle, twinkle, and I make a wish,
Oh my! it slips right off your shine.
I'm still sincere, you teflon dish!
I'll wish until I make you mine.
Wishbone? You? I think not,
I only wish 'cause it's worth a shot!
So that on some star-filled night, in retrospect,
There won't be anything that I'll regret.
Why don't you take a look around? You'll find
That everything else is real close.
Suddenly I seem far, it's a mutual thing,
But I'm curious; When was I ever close?
I guess bright stars are meant to be far,
Maybe that's just the way it is...
My constellation is just a star,
One beautiful star that I won't miss...
But Andromeda sparkle! I'm from the Milky Way,
And you're the one, the one I chose!
How special does that make you feel?
Awesome? Good? Bad? It's real!
While you ponder over thoughts at hand,
I'll stare up at the stars around,
Especially at you...
I will stay true.
To me you're so far off.
You're there in plain sight, with the other stars
But you're just so far off!
You twinkle, twinkle, and I make a wish,
Oh my! it slips right off your shine.

My Heart-Shaped Box
I could put all my feelings in a heart-shaped box, and I could throw it out at sea,
I could put my feelings away, I could pack them off, so well that you'll never see...
Deny those feelings that are always there, those feelings that never will be.
But just so you know, you're my heart-shaped box...
Now tell me,
Would I throw you out at sea?
I could put my feelings away, I could pack them off, so well that you'll never see...
Deny those feelings that are always there, those feelings that never will be.
But just so you know, you're my heart-shaped box...
Now tell me,
Would I throw you out at sea?

Observation
I see your eyes,
I see you draw,
I see you cry,
I'll watch you thaw.
I see your ring,
Your everything.
Then I see you smile,
It's worth my while.
I see these words,
I see them all.
I put these words
In lines so small.
I see this poem in my head,
Although I can't see where it's going.
I try to build on what I've said,
This, I find annoying.
I notice things that are hardly there,
But they are, so yeah.
Those little details; You don't care,
But I do, so ha!
I see you draw,
I see you cry,
I'll watch you thaw.
I see your ring,
Your everything.
Then I see you smile,
It's worth my while.
I see these words,
I see them all.

Sense?
Seeing is believing, but don't believe the truth.
I make sense to myself, but I doubt I will to you.
They say time tends to heal and that time tends to soothe,
Oh well, maybe it does; I sure hope it's true!
I sing a song of six pence, I live my life on two,
I could make you wish you weren't born but I've done that to few.
Where I am is a lonely place, it's not somewhere you'd want to be,
Where I am is a weird place, it's not someplace you'd want to see.
A few friends that I call mine,
I have many, infact.
I need them, use them, help them. They're mine,
Friends. Blood-oath. A pact.
I haven't made much sense till now,
I doubt I ever will.
The seeds of sorrow that I will sow,
I'm sure they're bound to kill.
I know that last line made no sense,
I'm not someone who cares.
If only you'd look at the world through my lens,
You'd see the ropes and snares.
Unpredictable? Random? Yes I am.
Get used to it. This is me.
"What's more?"- you ask. Yes ma'am,
There's a lot you're yet to see!
But I'm running out of things to say,
I'm human after all.
And I'm running out of games to play.
It's time, it's time to fall...
I make sense to myself, but I doubt I will to you.
They say time tends to heal and that time tends to soothe,
Oh well, maybe it does; I sure hope it's true!
I sing a song of six pence, I live my life on two,
