I thought it was fine
Now I’m not too sure
Why is it so hard to see?
The true worth of what you get

Somebody that I’m glad I met

I don’t know why
But is it true?
It doesn’t have to be this difficult
It’s easier if you stay the way you were
If only you would. But you won’t, I know
It’s unfortunate how things go wrong
And all you can do is watch…
Disappointing, yes, but it’s true
